Fashion Film - 2025
This film follows a fictional commute to Central Saint Martins, playing on the common stereotypes of UAL students. We see each student leaving their home late and racing through iconic London landmarks, revealing glimpses of their personalities along the way. The entire cast and crew were made up of UAL students — from garment designers and camera operators to the models themselves.
University of the Arts London is made up of several colleges, with Central Saint Martins standing out as a flagship institution in the art world. As a result, there are many stereotypes and stigmas attached to the students who study there. We set out to create a film that explores these perceptions and challenges them.
The aim was to showcase the students in a playful, kitsch, and nuanced way — breaking down the stereotype that they’re overly serious. The film serves as a celebration of various UAL disciplines, bringing together designers, makeup artists, cinematographers, and models to create a collaborative piece of art.
