JAW is a London-based film production house specialising in film production, photography and creative identity. We work closely with brands and individuals to shape distinctive visual narratives, delivering thoughtful, high-quality content that connects with audiences and elevates brand presence. From concept development to final delivery, JAW combines strategic thinking with strong creative execution to produce work that is both impactful and authentic.

Our Story

We think stories matter more than anything, so here’s ours. When we (Jake and Will) met at uni, we were two young creatives studying film and photography. We built JAW not just for the sake of making but because we want to make with meaning, doing what hasn't been done before, breaking boundaries and collaborating with brands and individuals we care and truly belive in.

We’re not here to play it safe and tell your story in a way which has been done before. We want to push for the one that actually means something and breaks boundaries. We solve problems that don’t have instructions yet and we don’t stop until it feels right. We get excited about the things that make a brand feel alive: your quirks, your energy, your beliefs. We want to find the heart of your brand and show that through story, film and photography. 

Our Values

We know that you can make something look amazing but if there is no story or narrative it will never reach its full potential. We wont stop until it feel right and everyone is happy, work is an enjoyment, and every project is a new opportunity to be as good as the last. Collaboration is at the heart of what we do. We value open communication, shared ideas, and the willingness to take a step back if it means we’ll leap further forward. Because the best stories are never created alone.

Founders

Founded by Jake Cossey and Will Wrench two young creatives who love making, pushing boundaries and telling stories. The two met half way into their first year of university at UAL and would always talk about their ideas for the next project and had a shared ambition of starting a company together where they could bring their ideas to life, this is when JAW was created. Built off the basis of wanted to tell stories in new and creative ways while always striving for the best.

Jake Cossey

Jake Cossey, the J in JAW, was born and raised in London. He is a filmmaker and creative, specialising in cinematography, photography, lighting, and visual storytelling. Grounded in film practice at UAL, his work is driven by strong narrative and atmosphere, supported by an enjoyment of planning, organisation, and collaborative working. Outside of his practice, Jake draws inspiration from automotives, football, and design.

Will Wrench

Will Wrench, the W in JAW, is a London-born director, filmmaker, and photographer working primarily across film and moving image. Grounded in Photography & Creative Industries at UAL and coming from a background in gaffering, his practice is shaped by a strong understanding of lighting, composition, and cinematic worldbuilding. His work often combines clean imagery with relatable performances and tongue-in-cheek humour, turning everyday scenarios into visually engaging stories that connect with wider audiences. With experience across lighting, camera, colour, and making, Will brings both a strong visual eye and a practical, problem-solving approach to developing concepts and bringing ideas to life collaboratively on set. Outside of his work, he draws inspiration from tennis, carpentry, skiing, tools, and the humour found in everyday moments.
