Aja - The Sight Project

Synopsis

This short film follows Aja, a rising ceramic artist from Central Saint Martins, as she brings her performance piece Sight to life across London. Blending clay, movement, and public space, Sight is a bold, thought-provoking work that invites reflection on U.S. immigration laws and personal identity. Cinematically lit interviews offer an intimate window into Aja’s process and vision, while a custom-built rig captures the project’s journey through the city in a dynamic, immersive style -  giving viewers a front-row seat to the piece in motion.

What We Could See

Young artists often struggle to have their voices heard, so we worked closely with Aja to present a fair, balanced, and thoughtful portrayal of her work. The resulting piece not only showcased her creative vision but also helped boost her online presence and support her growth as an emerging artist.

The Goals

The goal was to film Sight with a cinematic approach that felt more like a movie than documentation. We aimed to create a visually striking and emotionally engaging experience that deepened the impact of the performance for the audience.
