A studio session exploring continuous lighting, capturing behind-the-scenes moments from Lola Jones’ CSM collaboration. The work centres on a couture piece constructed using Balenciaga materials. Drawing on Cristóbal Balenciaga’s architectural approach, Jones explores silhouette as a way of reshaping the body through construction and reconstruction.Rooted in her mother’s experience of breast cancer and a double mastectomy, the garments shift in form, poppers enabling transformation, with asymmetrical volumes referencing the altered body. Shot in a controlled environment, the project uses light to shape mood, texture, and movement while documenting the process.
